Garden City-Mr. Harry Joe Fowler, 78, went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2015.
The son of the late Claude & Ruby Franklin Fowler, Harry was born and raised in Soperton, and later moved to Savannah after his military service. Harry served his country in the U.S. Navy and continued to honor the flag. He was retired from SCAD as an electrician, and was a faithful Christian.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Becky Lynn Fowler; son, Joey Fowler, and his wife, Heather; two grandchildren, Aidan and Avery of Chicago, IL; sister, Barbara Lynn of San Antonio, TX, Carolyn Fulford of Alston, GA, and Pat & Isaac Lynn of Reidsville, and several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with the graveside funeral at 2 p.m. at Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Treutlin County. Their will be an additional viewing at the cemetery from 1-2 p.m.
