Mr. Harry F. Seckinger, 80, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Candler Hospital after suffering a long illness.
He was born in Egypt, GA to the late Claude and Grace Stanley Seckinger. He was also preceded in death by a brother, John Seckinger. He served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from both Gulfstream and Continental Field Systems. Harry was known in Pooler for his photography work for over 30 years, photographing ball teams, kindergarten pictures, and weddings just to name a few. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Pooler.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Roach Seckinger; children, Cindy Seckinger Roberts (Charles) and James Harry Seckinger (DD); grandchildren, Krystin Kicklighter (Steven) and Morgan Horn (Tyler); great-grandchildren, Malcolm Kicklighter, Meredith Horn and Myles Horn; brother, Paul Seckinger (Jackie) and several nephews.
The graveside funeral and burial will be on Saturday, September 4 th at 3 p.m. at Newton Cemetery. The family requests that those attending wear a mask and practice social distancing.
