Hattie Elizabeth Cox Tillison, 73, passed away on Monday, October 9th. Born in Lyons, GA on January 18, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Willie Mack and Alliev Cox. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bennie Ray Cox, Sr. and Barnell Cox; sister, Willie Mae Sapp, and great-grandson, Johnny Randall Peszynski. Hattie is survived by her husband of 51 years, James Kenneth "Ken" Tillison, Sr.; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Ann Hightower of Wichita, KS; son, Ronnie Peszynski (Pam) of Eden, GA; daughter, Kathryn Davis (John) of Gardners, PA; daughter, Stephanie Hatcher (Bill) of Clyo, GA; son, James "Kenny" Tillison, Jr. (Pam) of Jonesville, VA; grandchildren, Brian Peszynski, Tina Crook, Jennifer Peszynski, Brandon Peszynski, Kelly Blake, William Hatcher, Joan Davis, Brittany Lester, Victoria Tillison, and Ryan Hatcher; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Hattie will be remembered as a hard working lady with a zest for life, quick wit, and tell it like it is personality with a heart as big as Georgia. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, camping, dancing, but above all, she loved making memories with her family. Hattie Tillison will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family. The visitation will be on Friday (today) from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery. Thomas C.
