Springfield – Hazel Morgan Hinely, 75, passed away September 3, 2022 at Effingham Care Center.

The Effingham County native was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rincon, the Pink Angels Breast Cancer Survivors Group, and retired from the Effingham County Board of Education.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Moses M. and Alice Elizabeth Hurst Morgan; husband, Terrill H. Hinely; and sister, Alice M. Cochran (William).

Survivors include her children, Melissa Robson (Mike) and Michael Hinely (Idalia); siblings, Milton Morgan (Linda), Marvin Morgan, and Helen Beasley (Chris); and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Rincon followed by funeral services at 2 p.m.

Interment will follow in Turkey Branch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
