Mrs. Hazel Hamilton Remeta, 96, of Pooler, GA, died on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.  The Robertville, SC native was the daughter of Manly & Lillie Griner Hamilton.  She came to Savannah to attend business school and was a legal stenographer for several years.  Later she worked with her husband in the general construction business.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Pooler.  She was preceded in death by her husband, George Remeta, Jr., son, George R. Remeta, daughter-in-law, Jenann Remeta and brother, Harold Hamilton.  She is survived by her son, William Remeta, sister-in-law, Adell Hamilton, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  The visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12 noon on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the funeral home.  The graveside funeral and burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Mt.
