Rincon- Helen Christie Chance, 76, died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Memorial Health.
The loving wife, mother, and grandmother enjoyed cooking, bowling, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She attended Countryside Baptist Church and had retired from Walmart after working for over 23 years.
Survivors include her husband, Roy L. Chance; children, Robert L. Chance (Sandra Skipper) and Brenda Arnold (Donnie); grandchildren, Chris Chance (Melissa), Scott Arnold (Stacie), Shawn Arnold (Heather), Kim Scott (Scotty), Lee Chance (Lindsay), Daniel Arnold (Jen), Alan and Phil Skipper; 11 great-grandchildren ; a sister, Lois Mote; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Thursday, January 2, 2014 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Effingham Memorial Gardens.
Remembrances: Countryside Baptist Church.
