Rincon- Helen P. Harrison, 81, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Memorial Health.
The Effingham County native was a member of the Garden Club of Savannah, Bellsouth Pioneers, Springfield United Methodist Church and a former member of White Bluff Presbyterian Church, where she had played in the hand bell choir. She loved playing cards with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leona Phillips; husband, Mack Harrison; 2 sisters; and 6 brothers.
Survivors include her children, Sherry H. Seckinger, Macky Harrison (Susie), and Greg Harrison (Echo); grandchildren, Brook Smith (Travis), Austin Seckinger (Emma), Ashlynn Seckinger (Matt), Nicky Smith (Abby), Holly Eidson (Robbie), and Leslie Pickard (Clint); great-grandchildren, Claire & Sydney Smith, Tucker Smith, and Clint Pickard; brother, Elwin Phillips (Verna); sister-in-law, Earlene Rusden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday, September 28, 2016 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 am Thursday, September 29, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Greenwich Cemetery
