Mrs. Helen Binnicker Hostetler, 78, of Pooler, GA, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Helen was born in Orangeburg, SC and had lived in Pooler for many years.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Hobert and Agnes Simpson Binnicker, her husband, Richard Larry Hostetler, and a son-in-law, Stanley Wingate.  She was a member of Compassion Church – Henderson Campus.  She had previously been an active volunteer in the nursery and as part of the Welcome Desk Team.  She retired from Hunter Maclean Law Firm, and she enjoyed gardening and genealogy.  She will be remembered most of all for being a wonderful grandmother.

Survivors include her daughters, Heather Wingate, Dawn and Roy MacMillan; grandchildren, Zachary Wingate, Amelia MacMillan and Corinne MacMillan; sisters, Mary Frances Purcell and JoAnn Burchett; sister-in-law and best friend, Betty Hostetler (David); loving caregiver, Sara Bowman, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
