Springfield- Helen B. Shaw, died Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Springfield, GA.

She was born in Chattanooga, TN, April 20, 1935. She served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. She was an avid reader and loved animals.

In her younger years, she was involved in a variety of interests. She graduated from City High School in Chattanooga where she was involved in several sports, but her favorite was softball.

She moved to Georgia in 1973. Helen was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints, where she held many callings.

She was survived by her daughters, Tena Shaw Mennekes and Sherry Hodges; her son, William E. Shaw, Jr.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be private.
