Ellabell-Mrs. Helen Miness Smiley, 77, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at St.
Joseph's Hospital.

Mrs. Helen was born in Collins, GA to the late Marshall Miness, Sr. and Gladys Oliver
Miness. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Smiley, Jr. She was a
member of the Living Word Church of God in Midway and was currently attending the
International Worship Center. She enjoyed singing, loved her family and loved her Lord.

Survivors include her children, Gerald S. Smiley, Sr., Janice Bell, Ronnie & Dana
Smiley, Kathy S. & Warren Radford and Cindy and Ronny Saxon; sixteen grandchildren,
fifteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Grace Hatcher, Nell Waters and Patricia Prosser and a
number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
1:30 p.m. at Gum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery on Hwy 196 in the Gum Branch
Community.
