Ms. Helen Wall Ubele, 94, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her home.

Helen was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Lee Roy Wall and Helen Broderick Wall.  She was also preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Mewbourne.  She was a "celebrity" for being the first baby born in Chatham County on New Year's Day of 1928.  She retired as Vice-President of C & S Bank and was a member of the Savannah Women's Golf League.  She enjoyed bowling, softball, and camping.

Survivors include her long-time friend, June Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Christian and Margaret Ubele; granddaughters and spouses, Kysia and Troy Davis, Kristen and Brad White; great-grandchild, Christian White, and her faithful dog, Lovie Too.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Helen's life will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah.
