Rincon- Henrietta Y. Wilson, 87, ended her journey here on earth after a short illness surrounded by her loving husband and children.
The Emanuel County native was a member of Rincon Baptist Temple. She was a loving wife of 71 ½ years and raised six children. She loved to spend time with her family and taking care of them. She loved to cook and have everyone over. She loved to sew and had the best green thumb in town.
Survivors include her husband, Grady W. Wilson; six children, Maxine Harrison (James), Pruella Dix (Douglas), Glenn W. Wilson, Bennie H. Wilson (Teresa), Wanda Howell (Kenneth), Melinda Hafeman (Mike); 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, James William Youmans; sister-in-law, Doris Morrison; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the funeral home.
Funeral: 2 pm Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Rincon Baptist Temple.
Interment: Springfield Cemetery Annex
