Guyton, GA- It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Henry F. "Woody" Clemmons, 71, of Tusculum, GA after a long battle with cancer.  He passed peacefully at home surrounded by friends and family.

He was born in Savannah, GA on April 21, 1951 and was a member of Elam Egypt Baptist Church. He was a retired masonary contractor of over 40 years and married to the love of his life Marsella Clemmons. His love was riding horses, gardening, farming, livestock, camping at Clark Hill, spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Louis and Frances B. Clemmons, and sister, Brenda Clemmons.

Survivors include his wife, Marsella Clemmons of Tusculum; daughters and sons-in-law, Heidi and Blaine Hart of Tusculum, Patricia and Freddie Tuten, Jr. of Tusculum, Jennilee and Andy Burtz of Pooler, and Savannah and Dustin Thurmond of Thompson; three sisters; 7 grandchildren, Hunter Tuten, Cheyenne Hart, Raelynn Chrysler, Phoenix Hart, Harper Thurmond, Gryson Thurmond, and Cypress Tuten; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Thursday, June 2, 2022 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Guyton Cemetery
