Obituary

Port Wentworth – Mr. Henry Ferguson, Jr., 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, after complications due to a long illness.
Mr. Ferguson served in the United States Army in the 115th Airborne Division. He was a dedicated electrician at Union Camp Corp. and a member of the First Baptist Church of Garden City. He was a devoted husband over 60 years to his wife, Mae Ferguson, and a loving father to his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Mrs. Ferguson, their beloved son, Danny, and son-in-law, Mr. Joe Ford.
He is survived by his two daughters, Shirley Calhoun and her husband William, and Adelia Ford; his grandchildren, Leigh Martin and her husband Rex, Rhonda Ford, and Steven Ford with his wife Sharon and his great grandchildren, Carli, Emily, Kyle, and Savannah.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home with a short graveside service at Hillcrest Abbey West.
