Guyton – Henry Telfair Pinckney, Sr., 91, passed away June 11, 2023 at Effingham Extended Care.

The Chatham County native was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.  He retired from Claxton Poultry, volunteered at Candler Hospital, played Santa Claus, and enjoyed charity work.  He loved to dance at the Elk's Club and traveled the country with his longtime partner, Shirley Sienkiewicz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Eustace Pinckney and Ella Pritchard Pinckney; his wife, Eleanor Stelljes Pinckney; his son, J.H. Stelljes Pinckney; his daughters, Dianne Pinckney Cobb and Sheila Brogan Boulineau; and his 19 siblings.

Survivors include his children, Donna Martin (Charlie R. Martin, Jr.), Sharon Fender, Henry T. Pinckney, Jr. "Bubba" (Susanne Pinckney); sister, Dorothy Pinckney Gnann; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held and burial at Pinckney Family Cemetery in Bluffton, SC.
