Mr. Henry Jackson Roberson, 84, of Ellabell, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at his home.

He was born in Jacksonville, Georgia to the late Steve and Alline McLendon Roberson.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Williams Roberson.  He was a visiting minister at the Church of God in Black Creek, Georgia and was a retired truck driver.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening and talking about the Bible.  He enjoyed camping with granny and mom in the RV, and riding the grandkids on the lawn mower.

Survivors include his children, Robin Jumonville, Phillip Roberson, Jay Roberson, Eric Roberson, and Shawn Roberson; grandchildren, Shelli Roberson, James Roberson, Christina Hodges, Katie Roberson, and Kristen Jenkins; great-grandchildren, Dylan Hodges, Luke Roberson, Addison Hodges, Bailey Hodges, and Bryson Jenkins; sisters, Sylvia Bowen and Minnie Jean Roberson.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, Georgia.

The funeral will be on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 12 noon at the Vaughn Funeral Home located at 107 East Oak Street in McRae, Georgia with burial to follow at the Roberson Cemetery.
