Herbert Riley Kicklighter, 63, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024.

Herbert was born in Savannah, Georgia and had lived in Pooler for a number of years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James Walter Kicklighter, Sr. and Frankie Foskey Kicklighter.  He was a good athlete in his younger years, and enjoyed both playing and watching golf.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Barbara Kicklighter; son, Kevin Riley Kicklighter (Kelleigh); brother, James Walter Kicklighter, Jr. (Tammy); sister, Frankie Jeanine Williamson (Andy), and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Herbert's life will follow at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens located at 315 Greenwich Road in Savannah with Brother Kenny Harrelson officiating.
