Guyton – Herbert Eugene Morris, 80, passed away November 2, 2024 at Hospice Savannah.

The Bulloch County served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.  He retired from Lummus, enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and tools.  He loved Jesus and his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy Morris and Alice Attaway Morris.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Knowles Morris; children, Tammy Hurst (Steve), Larry Morris (Sam), Kristy Smith (Kevin), and Rachel Sallach (Clif); grandchildren, Randy Edenfield, Kristen Gourley (Joel), Morgan Rosales (Anthony), Bam Smith (Alli), Jordan Dellinger (Keri), Sierra Morris, and Gabby Sallach; great-grandchildren, Stormee, Rhylee, Gracelyn, Wyatt, Dom, Raina, Kora, and Ace; siblings, Don Morris, Jerry Morris (Gloria), Gloria Wilds, and Doris Biggans; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery in Bloomingdale.
