Rincon- Hiester Muhlenberg Kruppenbach, 75,died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Savannah Cottage.

The Reading, PA native was a US Navy Korean War veteran. He continued his patriotism by working for many military contractors. He even worked on the space shuttle, Columbia. He retired from Gulfstream Aerospace in 2010.

Survivors include his wife, Syble Deakle Kruppenbach; daughters, April Leigh Kruppenbach of Rincon and Teri Anne Bennett; step-daughters, Charlotte Goff Bass of Brandon, MS, Sharon Goff Comas of Pennsylvania, Cheryl Hoffman (Mathew) of Pennsylvania, Laurie Lynch of Nevada, and Lisa Caron of Michigan; sisters, Elsie V. Purchase (Kenneth) of Hillsboro, DE and Lydia Bennicof (Theodore) of Millsboro, DE; brothers, David P. Kruppenbach (Shirley) of Shoemakersville, PA and Elmer L. Kruppenbach (Edith) of Guam; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 2-3 pm Saturday, April 14, 2012 in the funeral home.

Memorial Service: 3 pm Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
