Rincon - Hilia Elizabeth Freeman, 68 passed away Thursday October 1, 2020 at Memorial Health.

Hilia was born in Savannah Ga. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Walter Freeman and Dorothy Williams Freeman; and her sister, Edith Tonsie Partain. She was the most loving mother and grandmother and her most cherished moments were spent with her family. She enjoyed the routine of life as long as she was with the ones she loved. She always made sure her children and grandchildren felt her affection. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and she also had love for everyone that was a part of her life.

Survivors include her daughter, Misty Sowers (Justin); son James Jay Freeman; grandsons, Ethan and Jonah Sowers; sisters, Leatrice Freeman, Chylene Wallace, and Vivian McAdams; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 6. 2020 followed by a memorial service at 5 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

All CDC and social distancing guidelines will be in place and will limit the number of people in the building at any given time.
