Pooler-Mr. Hoyt Jim Brindley , Sr., 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Candler Hospital.
Mr. Brindley was born in Addison, AL to the late Delmar & Docia Brindley. He was a member of the Garden City Primitive Baptist Church and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was formerly employed with the City of Savannah I&D Water Plant and was the owner/operator of Brindley's Welding and Repair Service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his river property.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Reba Nell Brindley; two sons and daughters-in-law, Hoyt Jim Brindley, Jr. "Jimbo" & Karen Z. Brindley, and Greg & Amy Brindley; grandchildren, Kyle, Kody, Drew, Kendal and Casey, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at the Reidsville City Cemetery.
