Obituary
Savannah-Mr. Hubert C. Weathers, 83, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 at
Hospice Savannah.
The Evans County native was the former owner/operator of Weathers Barber Shop in Port
Wentworth and served his country in the Special Forces under Gen. Eisenhower during
World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Margaret Weathers of Savannah; children,
Leonard Roberts of Vancouver, B.C. and Rebecca (Randall) Hancock of Savannah;
grandchildren, Randall Hancock, Jr. and Tracy Hancock; great-grandchild, Shelby
Hancock and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that remembrances may be made to Southwest
Baptist Church, 831 Littleneck Road, Savannah, GA 31419 or to Hospice Savannah,
P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
