Hugh V.
Lowe
June 9, 1952 – March 10, 2014
Bloomingdale-Mr. Hugh V. Lowe, 61, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Hugh was born in Savannah to the late William & Annie Laurie Lowe. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Alan Thomas Burnham. He was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church and was employed with Kerby Enterprise. Hugh enjoyed Southern Gospel and loved to sing bass with Homeward Bound. If you knew Hugh and knew where a gospel sing was you could find him there. He previously sang with Sounds of Faith and True Vine.
Hugh and Shelia have been married for 39 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Hugh will be remembered for many things but most of all he will be remembered for his love of singing bass, his jar of sweet tea, being a pro at horseshoes and for the love he treasured for his wife, children, grandchildren and Jesus Christ.
"Daddy, sing that bass." We love you.
