Pastor Hugo A. Soto, Sr.
Springfield - Pastor Hugo A. Soto, Sr., 54, ended his battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 19, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Diana Soto, sons, Josh (Nicole) & Justin (Kaycee) Privette, Hugo Jr. (Amanda), Daniel (Erica) & Jordan Soto. His mother, Hortencia Soto, brothers, Carlos (Sylvia), Memo (Lupe), Frank (Carmen) & Omar Soto. Granddaughters; Kayla, Kaydence, Kaylee & one on the way. Grandsons; Dylan, Deacon, Devin, Nate, Dravin, Truitt, & Landon. Sister in laws, Donna (Jerry) Privette and Dale (Jimmy) Healan. Along with nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Hugo was a God loving Pastor and a well loved, respected Coach/Referee @ the Effingham County Recreation Dept. who had a positive impact on everyone's life he encountered.
His viewing will be Saturday, June 21, 2014 @ Thomas Strickland Funeral Home, Springfield Chapel from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The funeral will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 2pm at Abundant Life Church in Springfield.
Burial will be immediately following at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
