Mr. Hunter C. Anderson, 76, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Hunter will be missed by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn Glisson Anderson; his sister, Lillian Anderson; brother and sister-in-law, Heyward and Kay Anderson; a number of nieces and nephews, as well as his beloved basset hound, Annie.

Hunter was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Anderson; parents, Sterling L. and Lillian Kent Anderson;  brother, Robert Anderson; sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Gennis Kerby.

Hunter had been employed with the railroad, GA Forestry, as well as Wormsloe State Park.  He enjoyed astronomy, fishing, hunting, and traveling to the mountains.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Hunter's life will be on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Westside Memorial Gardens located on Adams Road in Bloomingdale, Georgia.
