Obituary
Port Wentworth-Mrs. Ida Lee Thompson, 86, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at her home.
Mrs. Ida was born in Moreland, AL to the late Mapp & Effie Richie. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Loyd T. Thompson, a son, Wayne Thompson and a grandson, T.J. Thompson. She was a member of Bonnybridge Baptist Church and retired from the Chatham County Board of Education.
Survivors include her children, Tommy & Candi Thompson of Garden City, Tammy & Bill Crews of Leesburg and Tracy & Jeffery Clack of Leesburg; grandchildren, Scott Thompson, Austin and Ansley Crews, Raylee, Rebecca and Raegan Clack; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brodie Thompson; brother, William M. & Jerri Richie and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City.
