Obituary
Port Wentworth-Mrs. Ila Nease Morris, 94, passed away under Hospice care on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
She was born in Guyton to the late Jasper & Essie Nease. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Otis Morris; brothers, Berlie, Millard, Freddie, Ray, Russell and Valdee and sisters, Annie Lois, Hazel and Hortense. She was a homemaker who loved her family, her church family and the Atlanta Braves. She was a member of the Port Wentworth United Methodist Church where she attended the Oscar Bell Sunday School Class and the Easterlin Zipperer Circle.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sharon & Ronnie Drake; granddaughters, Erin & Bo Zipperer and Ansley Drake; great-grandchildren, Camryn and Cole Zipperer as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Port Wentworth United Methodist Church located at 201 Turnberry Street. Burial will follow at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery.
