Mrs. Inez Curl Riley, age 86, of Garden City, GA died on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at home with her family.

Born in Toombs County, GA, Mrs. Riley has lived in Garden City since 1951. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Garden City and the Libby Tyner Sunday School Class. She served as Treasurer of the Women's Mission Union, served on the Board of Directors of the Savannah Baptist Association, and taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Riley worked as a buyer for Levy's Department Store for 26 years, and was a owner/operator of the Textile House and Linen Fair at Oglethorpe Mall, where she served as a board member of the Oglethorpe Mall Merchant's Association for 10 years and was named Mall Manager of the Year. Mrs. Riley also served as a Poll Manager for the Chatham County Board of Elections for many years.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Elton H. Riley; son, Robert H. Riley (Kathy) and daughter Cathy M. Riley; grandchildren, Kelly Dantis (Avant), Justin Riley and Christopher Weatherly; great-grandchildren, Trey Miles and Rebecca Riley. As one of 14 children, Mrs. Riley was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the funeral home.

Funeral: 10 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010 in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Harold Sangster and Rev. Ralph Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery off Dean Forest Road in Savannah.
