Lela Irene Eason

Rincon- Lela Irene Eason, 94, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at her residence.

The Bulloch County native was a member of Rincon Baptist Temple, where she had been named Mother of the Year several years ago. She had been a seamstress at several garment factories.

Survivors include her children, James Paul Eason (Roberta), Gerald Lehman Eason (Nancy), Ouida Hinely (special friend, Billy Sheppard), Karen Loper, and Angie Askew (Chuck); sister, Lois Grovenstein; brothers, Wallace and Horace Black; 23 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5-7 pm Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Rincon Baptist Temple.

Graveside Services: 3 pm Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery near Baxley.
