Irene H. Lindeman

Born July 1, 1938 - November 24,2021

Irene was born in Herzogenaurach, Germany to parents, Alfred and Susanna Flasch. Her family resided in Bad Windsheim, she attended school learning a higher education before meeting her husband Stanley.  She was united in Holy Matrimony, Oct 23rd, 1960 to Stanley H. Lindeman. They recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary.

Their marriage was blessed with two children, Terry and Thomas.

Irene was a dedicated Army wife accompanying Stanley around the world throughout his military career.  Enjoyed seeing new places, learning new cultures, and traveled overseas.  Irene was an accomplished homemaker and caring mother who enjoyed cooking, sewing, and family get-togethers.  Among her proudest moments were becoming an Oma.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley, daughter Terry (Gerald) Beckwith and son Thomas.  Grandchildren Megan, Morgan (Emmaleigh) Beckwith. Other survivors include two sisters Ingrid and Gunter Munz, Gisi and Roland, Jens (Yvonne), Ute( Lena) Gerstenmeier families in Germany and other families residing in Minnesota.

A private ceremony will be held December 4th at 1:00 PM at Thomas C. Strickland Funeral Home, 2460 HWY 21 S. Rincon, GA 31326.
