Guyton – Irene Kathryn Strickland Stanford, 78, passed away June 14, 2023 at East GA Regional Hospital.

The Chatham County native retired from Union Camp Credit Union and was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Winford Columbus Strickland and Velma Nesmith Strickland; her husband, Ray Allison Stanford; and siblings, Betty Brown, Charlie Strickland, W.C. Strickland, and Sonny Strickland.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Morgan (Len); granddaughters, Mallory and Macy Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services are being held.
