Rincon - Iris Jones Cone, 85, passed away December 18, 2022 at her residence.

The South Carolina native was a member of Eastside Nazarene Church where she was very active in the music ministry and the youth ministry.  She was member of Garden City Church of God and then Living Faith Church of God.  She was a proud stay at home mom and then went to work for Delta Life Insurance Company where she later retired.  She was a fun loving person, the life of the party, and her laughter was contagious.  Her children were blessed by her example of the Christian life and her love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Jones and Annie Slater Jones; husband, Vester Ray Cone; sisters, Lillie Mae Bridges and Annie Nell Walker.

Survivors include her children, Alton Ray Cone (Donna), Patricia Lydene Fiocca (John), and Tammy Ruth Turner (Mark); grandchildren, Dayanne Fort (Michael), Chad Turner (Sydnee), Ashley Turner (Taylor), Ashton Ray Cone (Alyssa), and Meagan Warnock (Kris); 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Opal Alford; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West.
