Obituary
Port Wentworth-Mrs. Iris T. Edwards, 90, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Westview Nursing Home.
Iris was born in Stillmore to the late Arthur & Ilar Thurmond. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Therman I. Edwards. She retired from Union Camp after 42 years of service. She was a wonderful seamstress, and also enjoyed attending blue grass festivals with her husband.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra & Danny McDonald; grandchildren, Jennifer Arnold (Daniel), and Jamie McDonald (Crystal), as well as 5 great-grandchildren.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Antioch Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery located off of Lambs Bridge Road near Twin City.
