Mrs. Iris Jane Helmey, 77, of Bloomingdale, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Hospice Savannah.

Jane is going to be missed by her husband of 60 years, Wilton Arnold Helmey; daughter, Frances Helmey White (Ed); siblings, Peggy Paul Anaya (Justo), Jack L. Paul (Wanda), and Donna Paul Polk (Charlie), as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

Jane was born in Candler County and was preceded in death by her parents, Irving Paul and Alene Mack Paul.  She was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family.  She will be remembered for being a hard worker, a good cook and a good baker, but most of all, she loved Jesus Christ.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Jane's life will be on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10 a.m. at Westside Memorial Gardens located at 373 Adams Road in Bloomingdale, Georgia with Brother Larry Bukowiec officiating.
