Astor, FL - Henry Jackson Burnsed, 92, passed away on July 15, 2014. Jack was born in Ellabell, Georgia, and was married to Anne, and later moved to Florida where he spent most of his life. He is survived by his one daughter, Chere Call, and his four sons, Jack Burnsed, Jerry Burnsed, Ronnie Burnsed, Greg Burnsed. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was proud to have served in the in World War II in the Army. Viewing will be on Friday July 18th from 5:00-8:00 PM at Thomas Strickland & Sons Funeral home in the Effingham Chapel located at 2460 Highway 21 South, Rincon, GA. Services will be held on July 19th at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel followed by burial at Double Heads Baptist Church in Sylvania, GA.
