Mr. Jack Curtis Gross
Pooler-Mr. Jack Curis Gross, 67, died on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Tattnall
County Nursing Home after a lenghty illness.
He was born in Savannah and attended Commercial High School. He was in the Air
National Guard and worked in construction for many years. He attended Emauel Baptist
Church in his earlier years. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, David S. Gross
and Sallie S. Gross.
He is survived by his sister, Barbara Gross Bowen (Bob); brother, David M. "Buddy"
Gross (Janice); children, Sallie Humphries, Shirley Dykes and Jackie Bortz; four
grandchildren and several cousins.
Visitation: 5-7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 10:30 on Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery on Wheaton Street in Savannah.
