Jack Ivan Shaw, Sr.

Mr. Jack Ivan Shaw, Sr., 81, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at Hospice Savannah.

Jack will be missed by his wife of 20 years, Debra Shaw; sons, Jack Ivan Shaw, Jr. (Holly), Paul A. Shaw (Miranda), and Christopher J. Shaw; grandchildren, Jack Ivan Shaw, III, Kerri Shaw, Sarah Shaw, Josh Shaw, Austin Shaw, Jonathan Shaw, Katie Shaw, Paul Ryan Shaw, Brian Wesley Shaw, and Brett Allen Shaw, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Cloe, Tanner, Addison, Liam, Samantha, Josh, Hailey, Payton, Cameron, Roary, Brandson, and Waylon; sister, Kathy Hamrick, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Jack was born in Massillon, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Constance Shaw; son, Brett Allen Shaw; sister, Alice Shaw; parents, Fred and Hazel Mason Shaw. Jack served his country in the United States Army and spent time in Vietnam from 1966-1968. He also served in the United States Navy from 1968-1978 where he was a deep water salvage diver. He later retired from Civil Service where he was a steam plant operator. He was a very talented mechanic, plumber, and carpenter and will be remembered for being a loving husband and father.

Jack’s wishes were to be cremated.
