Guyton- Sarah Jacquelyn "Jackie" Mitchell, 68, of Guyton, Georgia went home peacefully to be with her Lord on August 13, 2016 after an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her father, O.H. Adams; brother, Donald Adams; and sister, Carolyn Adams.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Jerry Lee Mitchell; son, Daniel Leon Mitchell, daughter-in-love, Kathleen Joy Mitchell, daughter, Terri Lee Miller; her mother, Sarah Frawley; brother, Thomas Sidney Adams (Lois) and Ralph Frawley (Carleen); sisters, Brenda Sparks (Ricky) and Carolyn Helms (Charlie); four grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation: 6-8 pm Tuesday, August 16, 2016 in the funeral home.
Graveside Service: 11 am Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Red Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 18667 Hwy. 46, Brooklet, GA 30415.
