Jacquelyn Z. Scott
Springfield – Jacquelyn Z. Scott, 79, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 at her residence after a long bout with cancer.
The Chatham County native was the daughter of the late T.B. and Inez C. Zittrauer. She was a homemaker, member of Brooklet United Methodist Church, and a child of God. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Frances McLaughlin, and brother, Neil Zittrauer.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Mack A. Scott; numerous nieces and nephews and their spouses; sister-in-law, Pat Zittrauer; and brother-in-law, Joseph McLaughlin.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday with funeral services following at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Mizpah United Methodist Church Cemetery.
