Mr. James Von Altman, 75, of Bloomingdale, GA, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

James was born in Sylvania, GA to the late Frank Ellis Altman and Lois Mallard Altman.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Wells Altman.  He was a retired mechanic with Jack Sellers Motors and enjoyed cars.

Survivors include his daughter, Shelia Carter (Ashley Bragg); his son, James Von Altman, Jr. (Shannon); close family member, Tim Carter; grandchildren, Tara (Thomas), Courtney, Onnah, and Zach; great-granddaughter, Adella Rose; sisters, Fran Ritzert, Barbara Altman Kennedy, Theresa Hildebrandt, Patricia Sullinger, and Carol Jean Bauner, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Sunday, April 3 ^rd from 4 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Monday, April 4 ^th at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Lower Black Creek Cemetery.
