James Floyd Brantley

Mr. Brantley a longtime resident of Ellabell, GA passed away after a short illness at Memorial Health University on July 19, 2021.

The Chatham County native was a former Chatham County Police Officer and was a member of Iron Workers Local # 709. He had previously stayed at Willow Pond Senior Care. James was a US. Marine Corp. Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his sister, Mrs. Frances Thompson of Pooler, GA; his son & Daughter-in-law, Timothy and Marsha Brantley of Richmond Hill; his daughter, Mrs. Shannon O'Briant and her husband, Joshua O'Briant; a daughter, Ms. Susan Eileen Wallace; and five grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson, Zachery Brantley, BJ and Asha Wallace, and Taylor Brantley.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 1 pm Thursday, July 22, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens
