Guyton- James Howard Brooks, Jr., 70, passed away February 20, 2025 at his home.

The Marietta, GA native graduated from Marietta High School in 1972.  He was a salesperson and a member of the masonic lodge.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Carol Jean & James Howard Brooks; and his granddaughter, Savannah Jean Hoskins.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Nancy McLemore Brooks; children, Trey Brooks (Joanna) and Rebecca Jean Brooks; grandchildren, Ashley Jones, James Brooks, Phillip Brooks, Hunter Brooks, Piper Brooks, Marin Brooks, and Scottie Hoskins; brother, Forrest Randolph Brooks (Belinda); sister, Jean Isabel Mathis; sister-in-law, Rebecca Warren (Harold); nephew, Randy Brooks; and several cousins.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
