Rincon – James Milton Couey, 79, passed away March 25, 2021 at Ogeechee Area Hospice.

The Alamo native retired from Smurfit Stone Container and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Lynn Couey.

Survivors include his children, Richard Couey (Terri), Raymond Scott Couey (Debra), Brian Couey (Mandy), and Angela Couey; grandchildren, Kayla, Ritchie, Megan, and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Robert, Tristan, Bentley, and Waylon.

Memorial services will be Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m., Neidlinger Farms, 200 Neidlinger Lane, Rincon, GA 31326.
