Mr. James Darby Dasher, 80, of Eden, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at his home.

Darby was born in Springfield, Georgia and had lived in Eden for 53  years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. Dasher and Georgia Haymans Dasher.  He was a 1961 graduate of Groves High School and served his country in Germany in the United States Army.  He retired from Gulfstream after 50 years of service and was an excellent mechanic.  He will be remembered as a loving, dedicated husband and father.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nina Jones Dasher, and his children, Jason David Dasher, Dawn Maria West, and Chelsea Dasher.

The graveside funeral and burial to honor Darby's life will be on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery located at 1336 Dean Forest Road in Garden City, Georgia.
