James Edward Daring

Savannah - James Edward Daring, 70, died Monday, February 8, 2010 at Memorial
Health.

The Chatham county native was a member of Bible Baptist Church where he was a
Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. He was a self-employed cabinet and window
contractor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alan Gilbert Daring, Jr. and Silla
Kessler Hair.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Allen Daring of Savannah; children, Michael Daring
of Guyton, Rickey Daring of Brooklet, Lynn Allen of Midway, and Timothy Daring of
Hinesville; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren, step-mother, Grace Daring of
Savannah; brothers, Alan G. Daring, III of Savannah and Jesse Daring of Alabama; sister,
Rebecca Saxon of South Carolina; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel.

Interment will be in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
