Springfield, GA / Flushing, OH – James E. Cutlip, III, 91, passed away September 10, 2026 at Hospice Savannah.
The West Virginia native graduated from Lost Creek High School in 1953 then joined the U.S. Army and served in the Korean Conflict as a Paratrooper. Soon after he worked construction in Washington, DC where he met Constance. He then settled in Lamira, OH while working at the St. Louis Arch , Wheeling Tunnell, and then hauled coal for many years as a truck driver before retiring. He loved hunting, fishing, had a lifelong love of horses that brought many years of happy memories to Jim and Connie. They enjoyed trail riding, barrell racing, and watching western movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas H. Cutlip and Juanita Nell Cochran Walker; his wife of 65 years, Constance J. Bolyard Cutlip.
Survivors include his daughters, Pam Bashlor (Steve) and Beckie Rush; brothers, Bill Cutlip (Jerri) and John Cutlip; grandchildren, Bryan Bashlor (Macy), Korie Edwards (Jeremy), Sydnie Warren (Matt), Tyler Bashlor (Haley), Haylie Reid (Austin); Piper Bashlor, Charlotte Warren, Banks Bashlor, Lenie Edwards, Jaxson Bashlor, Fayebeth Warren, Palmer Reid, Baker Reid, Lilly Bashlor, and Tilly Bashlor; and several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be held in Morristown, OH.
