Guyton – James T. Eason, 82, passed away March 4, 2021 at his residence.

The Appling native was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon.  He retired from Union Camp.

Survivors include his children, Karen Nease (Jackey), James T. Eason, Jr. (Carol), Amy Mullins (Chris); 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, Eurith Eason (Marilyn), Marion Eason (Kathy), Rev. Joe Eason (Nancy); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Monday, March 8, 2021 at Sand Hill Baptist Church followed by funeral services at 11:30 in the church.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
