James "Jack" Evans, 45, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Candler Hospital.
Jack was born in Australia and had lived in Pooler for the past seven years. He was employed with Disney Cruise Line as a recreation manager at Castaway Cay. He enjoyed Australian Rules Football, Cricket, and golf.
Survivors include his wife, Becky Evans; children, Emily Evans and Avery Evans; mother, Lois Flynn; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elaina & Francis Wagaba, and Roxanne "Rocky" & Paul "Flash" Stevenson; nieces and nephews, Sanyu, Suubi, Zac, Daniel, and Connor, and his mother-in-law, Susan Vachon.
The visitation will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 5 until 8 p.m. at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 West Highway 80 in Pooler, Georgia.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to the Lymphoma Society, www.lls.org, or to the Go Fund Me memorial fund in the name of "Outback Jack"
