James Willey Flanders, Sr.

Guyton – James Willey Flanders, Sr., 85, passed away July 3, 2020 at Signature Health.

The Emmanuel County native retired from Roberts Diesel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Flanders; brothers, Donnie Flanders and Winston Flanders.

Survivors include his wife, Joan S. Flanders; children, James (Pam) Flanders and Cindy (Stephen) Keith; grandchildren, Michelle (Bryan) McBride and Kayla (Nick) Mullins; great-grandchildren, Ava Grace, James, Owen, and Charlotte; sisters, Mary Jo Purvis and Ophelia Boyette; sisters-in-law, Mildred Flanders and Betty Flanders;  and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
