Savannah/Marlow- James Benjamin "Butch" Humphreys, 78, passed away March 29, 2021 at Candler Hospital.

Butch was born in Savannah but raised in Marlow. He worked as a salesman for Sears and Fairway Lincoln and owned Legal World. After retirement he also worked as a property manager. Butch was a long-time recovering alcoholic having been involved with AA for many years. He was a member of New Providence Baptist Church and the Guyton Masonic Lodge #428 F & AM.

He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Humphreys Lockhart; grandson, Jackson Lockhart; sisters, Merry Humphreys Cone and Nellie Humphreys; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside Service: 2 pm Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Guyton Cemetery
